About
I started this blog to document my journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur, I plan on using this blog to look back on all the crazy ideas i’ve attempted and adventures i’ve had along the way. As well as to keep record of what I was doing at (x) time this year, so I plan to keep it populated with financial events in my life.
I also want to inspire people to pursue their dreams. I hope that by documenting my triumphs and failures that people can learn that failure is inevitable if you want to be great, and soon those failures will lead you to success. The first step is to just do something! I believe that with a positive spirit, attitude, and drive that success will follow; just don’t quit and don’t keep your genius ideas to yourself!
I admire: People who are self-made.

My bio so far…
Alicia T. Glenn strives to be the voice for women’s entrepreneurial success. She is a Howard University student working towards her bachelor’s degree in advertising.
Her matriculation through school has enriched and ignited her thinking. She had big dreams of being an entrepreneur, however at the time they were just dreams. Choosing to attend Howard University gave her the opportunity to view first hand the work ethics of the students and faculty members, which inspired her to pursue her own dreams and make them a reality. Personal experiences have taught her to be thankful for everyday that she’s given, optimize and make the best use of that time as possible, and experience the beautiful things that the world has to offer.
She was raised by two loving Jamaican parents, which has definitely influenced her character. She began the French immersion program in school when she was 5. Growing up in those completely different worlds gave her a different perspective on life, and the ability to see the big picture and analyze situations from a different point of view. Going to school and being submerged in the French language then coming home every evening to her Jamaican parents has shaped her character today. She is open to new experiences and developed a love for the French language and culture as well as her own.
Ever since she was young she had a knack for entrepreneurship, she attended programs such as “Camp C.E.O” in junior high, had lemonade stands and garage sales. She may not have made a dime, but it encouraged her to find new ways of generating revenue, and ignited her passion for entrepreneurship. Even at a young age she could never see herself working for anyone but herself.
Her hobbies include modeling, she use to model for Dynasty Models and Talent in Boston, Massachusetts. She participated in Boston fashion week, and her photo has been featured in Sephora magazine. Other hobbies include guitar, reading, video games, and martial arts.
